Radon is defined as a colorless and odorless radioactive gas that is produced by decaying uranium. It is present in most soils and is very common within Middle Tennessee. Radon gas enters your home and easily gets trapped through concrete and within gaps of the walls or floors. Long-term exposure to high levels of radon can cause lung cancer. The EPA warns that any house, in any state and of any age can have elevated radon levels so it is important to us that we express the importance of getting your home tested for radon. We offer radon testing with your home inspection or as a stand alone service. In addition to radon, we also offer environmental testing. An environmental test can determine which areas of your home contain mold or are prone to developing it over time.

At House on the Rock, we work with termite vendors throughout Middle Tennessee to coordinate a pest inspection along with your home inspection. If termites go left untreated, they can cause a lot of damage to your home.
