Observing proper precautions, scrape, prime, and stain/paint any areas with bare wood. 
 

If not re-painting, make sure to wash the exterior of your home/garage at least once during the summer months. 
 

Check the flashing on all flat roofs, and re-coat/re-seal as necessary. 
 

Make sure all mortar is in good standing, and tuckpoint/repair as necessary where it may be compromised. 
 

Patch any cracks in concrete home additions, such as sidewalk or driveways. 
 

Add copper sulfate to basement floor drain and downspout drains to control tree roots in main sewer.
